Not sure if this is where I should post this, but here is my problem.

I have downloaded the ToonXP .exe and when I use the enable/disable theme it disables every suite (except for ToonXP and Classic Windows)that I have saved within WinStyles.

It also disables WinStyles all together within Stardock. Why?

Question #2 The DX2 clock for ToonXP suite does not work properly, how do I set it to do so?

I had to read that about six times....I think I get it If you disable the Toon Theme, does Themes Manager return to normal? If it does then that's normal and I don't understand what the problem is.

As for the clock...what doesn't work?

no, it uninstalls both Themes and WinStyles all together

... the clock: Hands do not move.

HUH????

Toons is the only theme I don't have so I'm shooting from the hip on this one....

Let me get this right....you install the Toon Theme via the downloaded file and it should just install (not load) on your system. It should now show up in the Theme Manager proggie, where you can load it or any other theme you want. You keep saying WinStyles'...you are using 'Theme Manager', correct?

I guess my first question is: what exactly are you 'disabling' and 'enabling'? Secondly, is it prompting you to un-install anything?

I'm sure I'm missing something and I try never to say never, but what you're describing is not plausible.

...we'll fix that clock as soon as we figure this out

ok, I have both WinStyles and Themes Manager both in Stardock Central (don't ask why) when I install one they both appear....

....yes it shows up via Themes Manager but excludes all other themes I have downloaded.
....so, I go to stardock central again, Themes Manager and WinStyles are Un-installed

That would be correct.

yes it shows up via Themes Manager but excludes all other themes I have downloaded.

Make sure all Shortcuts, Objects, etc point to C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WinStyles\ThemeMgr.exe

That's mind-boggling . When you re-install Themes Manager/Winstyles do you only install 'Themes Manager'? In other words, do you do that one first?

I know my wording is a little confusing, so I'm going to bed now.
...12:30 and have to get up for work early in the morning

...believe me, I'm not complaining about the Suite. The Icons alone, are worth 8 dollars.
...I was just trying to see if I had screwed something up with it.

sorry for confusing you.
Thanks, and good night

Yes, I only install one of them (not sure which one though) Next time I'll try WinStyles first

I know you weren't complaining...it's just a gremlin in there some where that we'll have to find...and find it we will...tomorrow

Ok,

Started from scratch on Toon-Xp.
Downloaded into c:/Stardock/ObjectDesktop/Winstyles

....after downloading, Themes Manager opens up with ONLY Toon-Xp and Classic Style as Options..
....Return to Stardock Central to check on WinStyles. (Un-Installed).....

....Quick Question, with this having DX objects in it, should I download it into DesktopX themes folder?
...Just a thought...

No.....

I'm a little confused..is that where you downloaded the (Toon).exe file and installed from there?

This is where your TM themes should be: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WinStyles\Themes

I need to know what default download folder set in SDC is.....you can find it in settings.

C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp is my Download Default

..... I click on the link that Stardock has provided for me...from there, I download into c:/Stardock/ObjectDesktop/Winstyles ....

.... It will not let me (browse) to put into c:/Stardock/ObjectDesktop/Winstyles/Themes

That folder is a new one on me ....let's get past that for now.

Do you actually have C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WinStyles\Themes and are your themes in there?

In C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WinStyles click on 'ThemeMgr' and tell me what happens.
